Play Time!

My weekends are basically filled with food, naps, baths and playtime! As you can see I can give out kisses now and I know how to high five and play peek a boo and patty cake, but I am very choosy about who I give kisses to.

Am I cute or what?!?!?!

So what is new? Mostly that I have 6 thousand new teeth, 4 on top, 4 on bottom, molars on top and bottom and everything is coming in at the same time! My doctor told mommy "good luck" because that many teeth at once is not fun for anybody. I have perfected my frown face and tantrums, I have started to dislike many of the foods I used to eat happily, I probably still like those things but now that I have learned to say no and refuse things, I like to exercise that capability often. I have learned new words like "shoe" and "out". I am starting a brand new daycare this Friday where I will be graduating to the Toddler room. The new daycare is near our new house and so it will be much more convenient for mommy & daddy. As a toddler we will not sleep in cribs any longer but instead we will sleep on cots like big kids do! My stranger anxiety has worsened in the past month so I hope I don't completely freak out at my new daycare. Mommy is worried. I hope I surprise her in a good way. I'll keep you posted!!!!!!

ZOO

As I mentioned in my Birthday post, I have a Zoo membership this year! Now that it is nice out we can start to go all the time! I get very excited when I see anything alive, robins, squirrels....and the Zoo is basically the most exciting place on earth! Daddy carried me the whole time so that I would have the best view. I get so excited by the animals that I laugh and snort manically. So in the photos where I look like I am crying I am actually making happy sounds.

First Warm Day

Spring is FINALLY coming. The robins are here and sometimes when we get back from school it is still warm enough out to enjoy the last hour of sunshine. This is fun because now I can explore outside. I like to touch trees and pick up leaves and pine cones and throw rocks - and sucking on rock is also fun if you haven't tried that.

Making Nana's Birthday Card

As you can tell I am very innovative when it comes to painting. Although these are finger paints I discovered that they work just as well as ink for butt stamps. When I finger paint I like to decorate the paper and the floor and my body and Lucy. I just want everything to feel included.

tunnels of fun!

Do you have a tunnel? You DONT???? I dont know how you live without one, it is nothing but smiles and fun.

swimming time!

 Lucky me - there is a giant pool only 3 minutes from our house so I can even swim on week nights since it is so close! There are slides and spouts and whirlpools and lots of other children. As you can see I have outgrown my second swimsuit, mommy and I tried on my 3rd swimsuit (18mo) and even THAT was too tight! I have a lot of chunk so I am very buoyant.
